Kinelskaya 100

Variety Kinelskaya 100 was bred by mass selection from hybrid material obtained from interspecific crossing of early maturing forms of Sudanese grass and sugar sorghum. The forage quality of the green mass is high. The dry matter contains 14-16% protein and 39-44% nitrogen-free extractives. The sugar content in the green mass is 12.9-14.3%.
Main advantages: it has a high productivity potential: up to 35 t / ha of green mass, 8.5 t / ha of hay, 2.2 t / ha of seeds. The forage quality of the green mass is high. In terms of productivity and quality of feed, it occupies one of the first places among annual cereal grasses, and is an insurance crop in severely dry years. Competitiveness: the variety is included in the State Register of Breeding Achievements, approved for use since 1983 in the Central Black Earth, Middle Volga, Ural, West Siberian, East Siberian and Far Eastern regions of the Russian Federation.
